Behind the face

In only four months, two people have been killed in the same house. Everyone concludes the first is a suicide and the second was murder.

Well, almost everyone.

Laura Montez was a prosecutor in charge of the murder case, the Assistant DA, the friend to the first victim and the only one brave enough to say it was connected especially since the DA's office was doing everything in their power to make it seem it was not. Trying hard to uncover the truth behind her friend's death, she faces things and people she never knew exist causing her to lose her career, her identity and almost her life. Now she being the only one with a close view to the killer, she is put on a witness protection program when an attempt is made on her life a second time.

She meets Jedediah Michaels. An former FBI agent who left when someone so dear to him was maliciously murdered in front of him but comes back when the killer resurfaces. Intrigued by the mysterious and sexy new photographer in town, he tries to figure her out and feelings start to surface.

Unknown to them they are more connected than sexual tension and undeniable chemistry. They had common goal. Discovering the monster behind the face of their common enemy. MEDUSA.
