Yowls of sorrow pierced the air in CliffClan's campsite. Their leader, Hollystar, had died. Hollystar was a magnificent leader in CliffClan, finding them a new home after a landslide broke their Clan apart. Hollystar's eyes flickered open, looking around to see five cats surrounding her and her dead corpse. She recognized all of these cats. There was Leopardstar, her mother, Owlwatcher, her brother, Deerpatch and Doeleap, her two daughters, and the one cat she had been dreading to meet once again; her former mate, Midnightshade. Midnightshade gave her a small smile, his whiskers twitching nervously. Hollystar glared at him. "I'm surprised you actually decided to lead me to StarClan, Midnightshade." Hollystar meowed coldly. This tom broke her heart moons ago, leaving her daughters to grow up without a father figure. He left her. That was something she could never forgive.
"I know I've made mistakes when I was still alive, Hollystar, but I realized you were the one I should've stayed with." Midnightshade murmured as he hesitated to approach the she-cat.

Stars entwine in the darker night as the sky cries stars of pity for those below. Stirring winds and roaring echoes- it calls forward to those those who follow the light of sun and intimidates those who hesitate to act right. "It's all burning," murmured the light grey she-cat with desperation "it's all burning!" she continued on repeating. "It is burning, Cloudfall." Meowed a white tom beside her, his tail resting on her back. "May StarClan light the paths of those cats, may they be safe in their paws." He whispered with awe and sympathy. Everyone is relying on StarClan to send the prophecy to their medicine cat, just hoping that one day, the fiasco will end. Yet that's not the way fear works its way into hearts. Warriors, once brave and strong, now cowering behind one another. Apprentices with their eagerness to learn, now afraid of the outside world and going missing. Queens, always caring for their kits, now fearful of losing them to the mystery. Elders, who are as wise as the deepest river, now unable to provide an answers. With leaf-bare creeping up, the Clans are preparing for the harsh weather. Preparing for another season should be like gathering moss for the elders, but not this time. This time, the Clans are struggling just to assemble a hunting patrol and maintain borders. Forcing time out of daily tasks is asking the impossible. Leaf-bare is going to take the remaining lives of the cats that are lucky enough to even make it through leaf-fall. Threatened forest
PLEASE READ: this is a really really old book and now I write much better quality stories. I'm actually working on one! So please, I ask, do not read this book. I wrote it when I just couldn't write, but there is no way I'm gonna erase it or un publish it, don't ask why just go with da flow. A dead silence. Cats stared at each other as if the world had disappeared. The trees even seemed to pray silently as the dark warrior approached, three cats hanging limply from his jaws. The rustle of leaves, the scent of prey were the only indication that they were still alive in the forest. But the dark warrior stared at all the cats without flinching. Starclan itself would be powerless against this enemy of might. It laughed as he released the cats from his jaws, it smiled as it saw the frightened look on the cat's faces, it walked to the leader proudly, it's pawsteps shacking the forest.
