Rosa is not popular but she's not a loser, not an outcast, not one of the nerds. As a matter of fact, Rosa is friends with some of the most popular people in her school, including the Stephanie, the richest and prettiest girl of them all. But she never gets invited to any of her parties, she is never referred to as her friend. She is also like a little sister to Captain of the football team but never in public, he doesn't acknowledge her in public which does not work in her favour, considering she has a huge crush on his best friend.

Taking on this outsider role in other people's lives has left Rosa feeling empty and used and she is ready to make real friends who care about her after 17 years of being forgotten. So what happens when one of the nerds hears her call for help and decides to help her in her quest for relevancy? And how would feelings affect their new found friendship? Is popularity worth it?
