Erica Samuels isn't in the best of times right now. Her father Casey "Corpser" Samuels was Luscar's best cop - until he went rogue and is now terrorizing the town. It doesn't help that Erica has a temper problem, and if it isn't for her best friend Samantha Farres, Erica can't even communicate with people.

After they return from Calgary, they hear of the most recent attack in Luscar, and decide to introduce a serum to make animals smarter so that they can track down Corpser faster. However, in one conversation, Erica gets a more ambitious idea: cut the middleman and make people gain the ability to shapeshift into animals!

As their project grows, Erica becomes more ambitious - and more irritated when people become scared of her. Then, out of the blue, a teenage man shows up at their doorstep, about to open another can of worms...All Rights Reserved
