In 1973, the Marauders enter their third year at Hogwarts and are immediately thrown back into a world of magic and mayhem. James, Sirius, and Peter, under the guidance of Minerva, devise an unorthodox way to help Remus during his transformations, and simultaneously become entangled in Quidditch, new classes, and developing romances.
Narcissa and Lucius enter their seventh year, on the brink of adulthood and the responsibilities that come with it. In the aftermath of Andromeda's expulsion from the Black family, Bellatrix becomes more keen on recruiting potential Death Eaters into Voldemort's ranks. Meanwhile, the Order of the Phoenix slowly begins to take form under Dumbledore's leadership, and tensions within the wizarding community at large escalate like never before.

Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years. Tessa Downing is a sixth year Hufflepuff. After a summer of chaos and hiding, she's having trouble transitioning back at school. Meanwhile, their rivalry with Severus Snape reaches all new levels, and Lily finds herself torn between them. Outside of Hogwarts, Narcissa embraces her position as a socialite in the Wizarding community and struggles to prevent an upcoming war. Meanwhile, her husband, Lucius, and her sister, Bellatrix, become ever more loyal to Voldemort, putting the entire Black family in jeopardy of attack by the vigilant and rapidly-growing Order of the Phoenix. The Marauders Freed (IV)
As the end of their seventh year approaches, the Marauders find themselves thrown into a war between Voldemort and the Order of the Phoenix. While James and Lily begin to recognize their feelings for one another, Sirius comes to terms with his family's burden while Remus and Peter prepare to fight at all costs. Meanwhile, Severus falls under the temptation of the Dark Arts and becomes trapped under the Dark Lord's control. Along with an army of Death Eaters, Bellatrix and Lucius set out to battle, while Narcissa struggles to fulfill her family's legacy and Andromeda's past begins to catch up with her, setting the stage for the final confrontation between the Black sisters.
