{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. I'm an emotional dependent vampire. I do not need to feed on mortal blood, all I need is people's energy. I give them a good laugh, and I absorb that positive energy. If I were to absorb negative energy, I would feel worse than they do. Not only that, I am also a delusional psychic. Being a delusional psychic gives me pros and cons of my daily life. 50/50 of my premonitions are either delusion or any actual foreshadowing of the future like a seer and the way I could read people's minds so easily. I have this profound power of knowing things instantly that is impossible for me to even know, to the point that I shouldn't even know them. It is a creative and intuitive talent that helps me write books as I could use clairvoyance around the surrounding area and beyond, in order for me to write as much as information as I can. Nightscape
A collection of stories based of my dreams and nightmares. Recently I've been having vivid dreams and nightmares that seems recurring or just memorable. Either caused by my anxiety or troubles that I don't acknowledge. People always say that there's meaning behind dreams and I'm here to figure out what it means or just to share an interesting tale. Some people have wacky dreams but for some reason mine seems to be pretty creative and straight forward that's good enough to write a story for. That's what I use my dreams and nightmares for, inspiration. Hopefully you guys enjoy these short and easy to digest stories. Confessions of a Queen Bee
STORY 1 Ivy James loved being top of the school; she could click her fingers and get anyone to fulfill whatever her heart desired. She was happy enough with her equal, top jock, bad boy boyfriend, and there was nobody that could bring them down. Apart from a tiny rumor that people had seen Ivy and her boyfriend's best friend going into a room together at a party. What nobody knows is the evil that happened that night and the ways in which the queen bee's life changed accordingly. Trying to navigate the aftershocks of assault, Ivy captures the interest of another member of the 'golden group'. He is fascinated by her and the way she acts around people. And before they both know it, not only are they navigating their own secrets, they find themselves engulfed in each other.
