Alex Green and Emerson Wall are in there junior year of high school. 

Alex has had a crush on his best friend, Emerson, for almost a year now. 

They've known each other their entire lives. Emerson was the only person that knew Alex was gay and he didn't care. 

Alex never wanted to say anything about it because he didn't want to ruin their friendship.
