In the happy, poignant town of Sunnyville, Lola Ralph and her melancholic, dysfunctional family are despondent outcast just trying to sort out their problems. Lola is in her sophomore year, trying to make friends, find love, and beat the hell out of that angsty depression, but she's got to make a lot of tough decisions to get there.
This is a story about not belonging, and trying to fit in. At the end of the day, you have to settle on a priority: fitting in, or the freedom to be yourself?
