Why bother?

Stories have been spread through many different places, languages, and even timelines. But right now, a story is being told even as you read this! Everyone has their own story as they continue to pulse with the will to live...but in this story, you'll be reading about the feeling of how that pulsing feeling starts dying and can even end up making the people who suffer from that feeling have the urge to give up. In this story, this will be told from the point of view from a boy, named Telos, who knows too much about that feeling and will eventually make a decision on how he will deal with those feelings.
The main question that will drive this story is:
Whether or not he will give in to the empty emotions and do something drastic or have a reason to fight for his fiery will to stay alive and push past all the loneliness he feels?
