Dean Winchester had an unusual hobby. See, he... kind of watched the kid who lived next door. 

Or, the Novaks move into the house next door, and Dean is intrigued by the mysterious stranger he can see from his window. When they finally meet, the boy just gets even more mysterious. Dean is determined to figure the shy boy out. What he will discover is beyond his wildest dreams... 

But something goes horribly wrong, and Cas is dying. Sam, Dean and Gabriel will meet new friends and go on an epic adventure to save the angel that has come to mean so much to both Winchesters. 

(I'm sorry I suck at writing summaries! Also this story is heavily based on a headcanon I found on Pinterest. Unfortunately I couldn't find anyone to credit with, just letting you guys know!)

Sam's p.o.v- My heart beat loudly in my ears. A soft smile played on my lips as I kissed all over her forehead, face, anywhere I could. She nuzzled into my chest and I sighed in content. He's all alone and he thinks Dean is dead, he doesn't know Marie is alive (obviously) and he doesn't know where Cass is. All of the sudden though, a woman he doesn't know comes to his rescue, seeming to know all about him). She takes him back home and meets Dean (who is very shocked to see this random lady with his tortured brother) She meets Cass and they know each other. A bunch of stuff happens, and she's got some dark secrets. Her and Sam's relationship blossoms into a fluffy ball of adorable that made me happy to write. (The overall theme fits the song Windows by Angel Oleson really well and I'd recommend you listen to it. Also, yes I know at some parts it's really cringey but I was a baby writer for the first parts of the book. It gets better and I'm really proud of it. I'm gonna try to go back and edit it but I'm really busy recently.)
