Luca Kade is a Krusnik, the only one in a school filled with humans and vampires. He's also gay. The three races have managed to find some semblance of peace ever since the Blood War that occured centuries before. When Luca meets Gabriel Schiovani, an unbearably sexy--but straight-- vampire, he can't help but fall in love with him. Gabriel himself manages to find friendship with Luca, but has no clue that his friend is a Krusnik, the vampire-hunting scourge that his race fought against so many years ago. Or that he's gay.
