Believe it or not, at seventeen, Eleanor Snow has never once shared a kiss, or ever liked anyone from the opposite gender-other than the lead vocalist of the band Black&Gold, for that matter. After a year where she lost control of everything, Jeongah wants nothing more than to get her life back on track. And to do that, she vowed to keep her life simple and free of trouble: school, home, and no boys. She doesn't want to end up like her mother, whose constant ups and downs broke her family, and avoiding unnecessary emotional entanglements is a must. She's got this wall she built to keep everyone out, because she's afraid if it crumbles, she will too.
Nathan Wilson is a respected and praised brilliant and passionate History teacher. Not only he's very easy on the eyes and possesses an undeniable magnetism, he also wears an evident charm and charisma on his sleeve. Women, friends and good times naturally just flow his way. When he sees Eleanor walk into his classroom on the first day of school, he's immediately drawn to her sad but beautiful eyes, and knows there's more to her than what she insists in showing. So he offers her a sympathetic ear and a shoulder to cry on.
Eleanor- on the other hand- is dumbfounded by all his attention. Despite her attempts at keeping him at a distance, he gets under her skin with his insistence on playing her guardian angel. When she's with him, Eleanor feels cared for and doesn't feel as worthless as her parents made her believe. Soon, she finds herself developing more than just mere feelings towards her history teacher against her will, and that's when she realizes she's completely screwed. But by reaching out to protect her-to mend her breaks and soothe her wounds-Nathan is not only risking his career, but his heart as well.
There is a very thin line between Mr. Wilson, the teacher, and Nathan Wilson, the man; and that line is about to be crossed.
After getting out of an emotionally abusive relationship, Nola Collins sees the chance to reinvent herself after landing a job as PA for rockstar Darius Keller. The last thing she needs is to fall for her new boss, but when she agrees to fake date Darius for a publicity stunt, her feelings quickly become too real.
