Joey Harmon is a guy with a dream. He wants to own his own coffee shop. But, somehow along the way he ended up getting stuck working at one instead. Life seemed to be on pause for him, but it quickly picked up pace the moment Nevada Jones walked through the door.

"Black coffee, please," she said, looking at him for the first time. 

"Do you want that in a cup, or should I just give you the whole pot?" he tried to joke, but it didn't seem to amuse her at all. 

"One cup, two sugars," she simply replied, unfolding a five dollar bill.

When he handed her her drink, he had no idea what would come next, but whatever it was, it all started with a cup.
