A dark shadow, hunched, dripping, and gripping a bundle, dashed desperately through Greenwood.

That's all you have to do.

The once silent rags began to rustle, and miniscule whimpers started to echo throughout the inky woods.

Just breathe.

The figure quickly clutched the squirming infant closer to her chest and whispered shakily, "Hush, little butterfly. Just a little longer."

You can't let them find her.

Thunk. An arrow sliced across the shadow's nose, finding a new home in a nearby tree trunk.

Not now...

The sounds of desperate pursuit only grew and hastened as more blood dripped down the crippled person's figure stumbling towards the edge of the once magnificent Greenwood.

She's not ready.

The crimson-spotted sliver fabric finally fluttered across a dilapidated cobble bridge in the direction of the place she called home, the Land of Almansi.All Rights Reserved
