Finding Hope- Mint's story

Mint Eliza Zozo, or Mint , seems crushed when a best friend dies, she feels everything and everyone she holds dear will be stripped from her. Her past seems to haunt her, her mother is going with some strange guy named Roy, and Lee, like her real father, is gone forever... or are they? When she stumbbles opon a low-down and meets the puppy that haunts her dreams is it just ironic or is it fate. As her story unfolds the light at the end of her tunnel seems to close off forever, can she lift her self out or will she fall into forever darkness. Can she find what she needs to pull herself out? Can she find the hope she needs to live her life and find her true destney, or will she completly shut down, and never see that light again?
