One night while at a Christmas party with her best friend Danielle, she meets Shane McCarthy. Shane is what people call "intimidating". The women want him and the men envy him. His father is one of the most powerful CEO's in the country and Shane is next in line to take the position. The only problem is that Shane's family doesn't associate with blacks or any other race for that matter; so when Shane starts to feel butterflies around Kendall will it jeopardize his position as CEO or will he drop everything to try Something Brand New?Complete

Derek is a handsome white male also living in New York City. His beauty however, is buried under dirty brown, shoulder length hair, a full beard and clothes that haven't been washed in years. He's been homeless since he was 16. Now he's 28. After being constantly harassed by shop owners and police officer and moved from place to place, Derek finds a new place in the alleyway behind a bakery. As the New York winter begins to roll in, Danielle's compassionate persona moves her to do things most people wouldn't.Complete
