A sudden wet lick against the left side of my neck made me shudder as a throaty noise emerged out of the man. He pulled back, peering into my eyes like a fiery ball of darkness.
"Why?" I choked out, feeling his grip tighten ever so slowly around my throat.
He tilted his head, looking at me in pity.
