Ackerman is a veteran of the wars in the Middle East and refuses to believe he suffers from PTSD as he begins to suffer from disturbing hallucinations. Trying to maintain his security business, love life and alcoholism around the slow meltdown of his mind, he struggles to differentiate between reality and fantasy. Is humanity really subjugated by unseen superior beings who feed off our souls like a drug? An unwanted visit from a group calling themselves the order of the Round Table, tell him that all of it is real and not in his mind as they attempt to convince Ackerman he is some kind of modern day prophet here to lead mankind out of the darkness! Ackerman now has to decide which reality is real? Were all the hints and clues telling him it is all in his mind or is he dying on a battlefield in Afghanistan? Has he committed suicide and in purgatory? Or is he medicated in a mental asylum? Or the most terrifying that the "Others' are real, and this is another test?All Rights Reserved
