Can you imagine what's it's like, to have your heart not only broken, But stamped on and ripped to shreds by a boy who's face you can not go a day with out? His voice constantly on every radio station, his face on every music channel, his name on every music magazine. Maybe he's matured a little since. After all, we were young dumb teenagers in love. Or maybe he'll just never change. "I put my heart in your hands Billie Joe," I chocked as the tears continued to spill out of my eyes and down my face. "And you handed it back in a million fucking pieces," "Look, I know I hurt you. I didn't know what I was doing I swear, I never meant to me make you cry or to break your heart," he defended with the guilt burning in his eyes. "It haunts me everyday what I did to you, although it was all those years ago I haven't gone a day where I don't regret it," "I was never able to fully get over you. I was never able to forget the light in your bastard eyes. Or the way you laughed. Or the way you smiled. Because everywhere I turned there you were. On my television, playing in my stereo In my car. And it is. Torture. Even after all those years," "But I'm not that person anymore," He repeated desperately. "I've changed. For the better," "And how am I suppose to ever believe you?" "Please. Just trust me. I promise you, I won't break your heart again," he babbled nervously. As he fidgeted with his fingers. "I'll never be that me again," I took in a deep breath. As I felt my hands shake slightly still as they sat in my lap. "We're not who we use to be." I sighed. "And I'm scared to get hurt again," He took my shaking hands into his as he held them. Stroking the back of my hand with him thumb. "We're gonna be trapped in active depart forever," he whispered. "If you don't let me change the way you think of me when your eyes meet mine." "Trapped In active depart. Sounds better than trapped in another heartbreak," "But I'm trying, Do you care?" I sighed. "I'll always care,"

Woodstock, 1994.
Collin Grey doesn't belong in the fluorescent lit future that haunts her. A safe, quiet life that fits like someone else's jacket. The cookie cutter American dream. She doesn't quite belong in the chaos, either. So when her best friend drags her to a muddy music festival halfway across the country, she goes, not to rebel, just to breathe. She's not looking to be found. Especially not by Billie Joe Armstrong. He's the kind of alive that makes her nervous grinning through the wreckage, loud without apology. The lead singer of a band she barely listens to, the kind of person who sees right through people like her: the quiet ones. The scared ones. The ones who want more but don't know how to ask. When a rainstorm turns the festival into a swamp of music and chaos, Collin is forced to face everything she's been avoiding, herself included. But Billie? He's not just a distraction. He might be the reckoning. For all his noise, listens in a way no one else ever has. He doesn't try to fix her. He just sees her. It's not a love story. Not yet. But it's the start of something. Something messy & loud.

It's been two months since everything fell apart. Aileen McDermott, a 17-year old punk, is getting more isolated from the outside world as the days pass. But then all of a sudden Billie Joe Armstrong, her biggest idol, steps into her life. Billie is suffering from severe memory loss and can't remember anything that has happened in the past few months, especially not where his wife is. Together with Aileen, he goes on a search to find Adrienne, but what happens when the two of them get closer than they should? Will Aileen find the love she's been searching for for so long, or will everything take a far more different turn? A story about strength, belief and an incredibly strong love that was never meant to be. Warning: this shit is gonna fuck you up /// I do not own Green Day, nor Billie Joe Armstrong, Adrienne or others. ///
