Mailyn is dead. 
At least she should be.
But the place where she is now does not resemble finality. It's more like a hell of loneliness. A dead world in which not even she herself is alive. A prison.
At least that's how it felt until she met him.

At the same time, Mailyn's sister Sophia is fighting in reality to destroy the prison world and free Mailyn. In doing so, she has to stand up to the powerful original vampire family, the Mikaelsons, and is forced to work with the wildest of the family.
