He offered to pay you as much as he could for your help, but seeing as it was well under what you normally earned at your current job, you had to reluctantly deny his offers. Besides, you live halfway across the city and you have training with your mentor, this isn't something you couldn't just throw away with ease. Upon the third call though, you finally folded, as the desperation in your fathers voice was evident and you were tired of being, what you'd like to call, a shitty daughter. Though you felt off about leaving him to take care of your pets, you had no one else to trust, so you just left him with them. With that, you packed a good few amounts of clothes, started up your car and then you were off.
