If students and teachers were always caught up in disagreements, it was never over Ms. Kido; they agreed that she had a rather ugly personality.  Still, despite being told this (and having provoked her wrath on several occasions) Kano still felt drawn to her. He wanted to get to know her, understand why she acted the way she did. Kano had thought it was hopeless, that he would never find that one girl; but then, seemingly out of nowhere, Kido had appeared, and he realized that not all hope was lost. He suspected that feel down she wasn't nearly as bad as she seemed. And he was going to prove it.
