I was only 10 when the gangs became stronger. Everyone wanted me because of special abilities and talent. But the worst of the worst were about to get their hands on me. I jumped from orphanage to orphanage, I never stopped running. The streets were my home. I didn't belong any where but there. I don't talk about my childhood often, and I have every damn right not too. It wasn't what anyone in the right mind would consider much of a childhood. I had never been so destroyed in my life until I hit "10." Things were always different since I never knew my age. The story I'm about to tell you... Is one that hits close to home. Despite losing everyone I held dear along the way, one managed to stay around against the odds. It wasn't my first time being kidnapped... But this time it wasn't just a kidnapping, not even a trade off or sell. If it wasn't for him, I would've stayed and eventually broke myself out. By then things would've been worse. It's just another heart wrenching story. But you can tell a lot by a story... Even ones like these.
This book is dedicated to my big brother frosty. I hope he enjoys every word! He's one of my bestest friends and a one of a kind big brother. He means everything to me even if I don't know him in real life. He's always been my hero, so, I've dedicated not only this book but a character to him. I love ya big brother.

I hear the clanking of metal loud and rigid from behind me, I feel the wind rush past as I sprint, they are still chasing me. I'll be honest I don't know what to do, quite frankly it's hard to think straight right now. I feel my body shutting down as the adrenaline is losing its punch, I can't run any faster. I'm always running, they are always chasing me. I don't even know why they chase me, I don't know what I did and like them they won't say. Do they even know? Am I just unlucky? I don't know where he is, I don't even know if he is safe. "Hey! Weapon down sarge, we don't want to kill her!" A guard's shout smacks me out of my train of thought. By this point I've gained some distance due to them having heavy armour. This stops me in my tracks though, I hear the guards slow down too. I stop, I realise, they want me alive. They aren't going to kill me, they don't want me dead. I have a gun, if I just point it at myself what are they going to do? I turn around and I look at all of the guards who have stopped in their tracks heaving in confusion. It's silent, even the wind is merely a whisper, all that can be heard is the panting of everyone on scene. They want me alive, they want me alive. I turn around, towards my chasers. I notice the guards straighten as I do so, instinctively I hold my gun to my neck, one bullet left, not enough for all of them but enough to kill me. They don't want me dead.
