A new Asset is designed, but this time the asset is not for "show and tell" but for the workforce for InGen. The asset is soon created as an embryo and is given to a willing host. The story takes place 30 years after the events of Jurrasic World trilogy.

The first book following the first installation of Jurrasic Park. Clarissa Hammond is the youngest daughter of John Hammond. Clarissa is a paleontologist alongside Dr. Alan Grant and is good friends with Ellie Sattler. Dinosaurs roamed the Earth over 65 million years ago, but in 1993, a man by the name of John Hammond with the help of geneticist introduced them to a new world. He brought in several people to the island of Isla Nublar in order to endorse the idea of a dinosaur theme park. A park where people could interact with living and breathing dinosaurs. Among those people were Dr. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. The park trial failed resulting in death and the shut down of Jurassic Park. In 2015, Simon Masrani and his company Masrani Global had shown their interpretation of John Hammond's dream with Jurassic World amusement park operating in full swing. However, the park went into full chaos when a hybrid called the Indominus Rex escaped and wreaked havoc all over until it was stopped by heroes Keira Grant and Owen Grady with the help of friends and trusty (somewhat) velociraptors. Jurassic World was in shambles and was turned into a sanctuary, redesigned to protect the dinosaurs. After hitting a few speed bumps, Isla Nublar became a safe haven.
