Mature
It was almost as if i could see the tension surrounding us when he spoke. "Not interested? So you have a boyfriend then?" I checked the time on my phone before saying "That's a personal question and personal questions are asked by people who know that person on a personal level." I started gathering my things in my bag and I stood up from the booth. With my back towards him I looked over my shoulder and said "And were not on that level." Thinking I dismissed the conversation like a boss, I started to walk away. I made it two steps before I heard him say " Sorry if I over stepped my boundaries Fox, but you forget the whole reason I'm here is to know you on a personal level." Clever I thought but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction. I passed Nylah at the counter and give her a pointed look. "See you around Montéz" If I wasn't so caught up in leaving for work I might have heard him mumble "Yeah you will" I made it to my car and drove off to work.
