On her fourteenth birthday Aria Silver discovered something incredible about her. She was special. But she didn't know how, or why she carried these abilities. Her mother forces her to transfer schools after her father is killed, alone and hurting Aria turns to cutting, it's the only thing she knew how to deal with her swirling emotions. Then she meets someone else.
He knew her from somewhere. He just knew it. She was special just like him but how and why her? Dante Cross has lived by a fake name his whole life, guarding his family's lives and his own. But when Aria moves in to his school, he can see she's different. He oddly drawn to her, yet she acts as if he only wishes to hurt her. Confused, Dante begins to attempt to befriend Aria, but sees just wrong that idea could be.
