Natalie Larsen has everything any girl will want. She has an amazing family, crazy friends and the most incredible boyfriend. On her 20th birthday, her boyfriend, Hayden, takes her to the Lake House where he plans on proposing marriage but during their way there they crash with a truck.
Natalie survives the accident but Hayden doesn't. She feels lost without him and is angry at the world. Three months of non-stop crying and being lock in her room, her parents send her away from the state and country. After three years pass, Natalie comes back all fiery. She comes to stay with her family and begin a dance studio but when everyone greets her in the surprise party they made for her, she is no longer the same sweet, fun and cheerful girl they used to now.
And Ashton knows that.
