Daniel Morgan (Daniel Gillies) is a Canadian man. Daniel is part of a peculiar family, a descendant of wolves but one day he was transformed into a vampire. So when he killed his first victim he activated the wolf curse. At the age of 32 (that was transformed) , in the year 2014 he moved to California with a new goal: to start living again. He got a job as a university professor in History. Both will meet a few times before they find out that he is their teacher and she is their student.
They fall in love with love being forbidden because besides being a hybrid it is also a teacher.
