An attack on Lena Luther by her brother Lex, ends in Kara Danvers being exposed to her best friend as Supergirl. When an unknown enemy assists the elder Luthor, it leaves Kara gravely injured and Lena confused and feeling alone.
The mystery foe has powers that send the two barreling into Metropolis, but it's not Metropolis as they know it. Superman has just died at the hands of a Kryptonian beast, though some blame the Dark Knight for the Man of Steel's death. Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince are attempting to put together a team of meta humans but it isn't as easy as it sounds.
