Roy Harper, AKA Arsenal, has fallen back into his old narcotic ways following the death of his daughter Lian. Everette Jewel, AKA Night Eyes, spends her nights killing low-lives by luring them into bed, under the guise of being a prostitute.
To help them both, Jason decides to hire Everette to bring life back into Roy and in turn give her a secure home and finances. When the two find common ground in wanting revenge and retribution, they will find themselves building a relationship on more than just physical attraction and addiction, but rather something much deeper.
As their feelings progress, Roy starts to realise there is much more to Ever than meets the eye- something grand, something powerful, something out of the ordinary and especially...dark.
