In the beginning, there were only Dragons...

All her life, Sky felt like she just had bad luck. She was kicked out onto the streets after her parents died, she was too weak to be a protector, and she never got enough food to eat. But after an encounter with soldiers results in her death, Sky didn't expect to wake up. And she certainly didn't expect to be dragged into babysitting a mute child with a connection to a stone or have to deal with a spoiled, rich child while on the run from the Emperor, who will stop at nothing to have Sky killed. Again
