In the beginning, there were only Dragons... 

All her life, Sky felt like she just had bad luck. She was kicked out onto the streets after her parents died, she was too weak to be a protector, and she never got enough food to eat. But after an encounter with soldiers results in her death, Sky didn't expect to wake up. And she certainly didn't expect to be dragged into babysitting a mute child with a connection to a stone or have to deal with a spoiled, rich child while on the run from the Emperor, who will stop at nothing to have Sky killed. Again
(Be warned that this book will contain strong language and violence as well as some sexual themes, which is why it is rated Mature)

With close friends, a blazing princess, an inconsistent mentor, a mysterious kitsune, and her own strong will, she has the aid to help her face the bad and achieve the impossible. Seycara's journey is only just starting, but if she isn't careful though, it will all truly fall apart. Queen Anaconda will make sure of that...

Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. I'm hoping that writing this fanfic will be a bridge to doing more of my own fiction.
