With their powers growing by the minute every day, he has to find someone that can help before it's too late, before King Zyron catches them and takes hold of the last two elements.

With him, Almar has the help of a young healer named Eir who wants to do everything in her power to help the dragons. Almar finds it strange how his heart thumps for Eir everytime he sees her. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.
