Dehradun:- City Of Love

If we hear about Dehradun, the first thing comes in our mind is ,It's a city of love.

Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is known as a Hindu Shrine.

I am in Dehradun from last ten months. If anyone ask me about Dehradun, the first thing that comes to my mind is the climate of the city which attracts and how the climate of city is exotic. Dehradun is one of the most visited tourist attractions in uttarakhand.It is located on the foothills of the himalyan mountain range.

These tourist place include Robber's cave, Malsi Deer Park, Sahastradhara, Tapkeshawar Temple, Santala Daevi Mandir, Dunga, Nahan, Indian Military Academy, Forest Research Institute

Sahastradhara:-

Sahastradhara is one of the most beautiful picnic spots in Dehradun. It is very popular amongst local as well as the tourists coming to this city. It is a place were water literally drips down from limestone stalactites numbering thousands.

Malasi Deer Park:-

It is located in the outskirts of Dehradun, equally attracts both the adults and children.

In Dehradun, if you go to old Rajpur road you can find a number of small cafes were group of people having their coffee or tea while enjoying the climate and the surroundings. You get best maggi here. It is a very exotic place for a food lover, Hatthi Maggi shop is very famous to deliver a tasty and delicious maggii. Pahalwan Paratha is the restaurant, which is in Prem Nagar were you get different varieties of paratha. Even this city attract people who love shopping a lot, Paltan Bazaar is one of the famous best places to shop in Dehradun.
