Pricking those who come too close

A pink rose is friendship
Tying two souls together in harmony

An orange rose is passion
Blossoming in Lust's foul hands

A violet rose is courage
Growing in Nature's Garden of Eden

A black rose is death
Lying gracelessly on the wooden casket

Every one of them matches its color
Like a military man in solitary line

But a yellow rose is different
It is not happy or kind

A yellow rose is dying love
Forever frozen in mid-bloom
