It's the second semester of Astrid Hofferson's junior year, what can possibly go wrong?
The new year doesn't exactly start off on a good foot when Astrid manages to run over a stranger on the first day back in school. It doesn't really get any better when it turns out her partner for the 'Big Presentation' of the semester is the same guy.
But as she grows closer to this stranger, will she find that maybe he isn't that bad after all?

ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! She's your...' because that's when the writing starts to go uphill :) Most are based during/after rtte and httyd 2. A couple set either earlier or later. Only one modern. He falls into a depression, but when he suddenly spots Astrid flying away, and hearing her story, he wants to prove he doesn't need protecting. He wants to be recognised for what he's done for Berk.
