Is a middle class teenager, missing her brother who's a rebel fighting in the war and her father who was as well, but has gone missing.
She's struggling to find a way for people to recognize her as a person who can talk about the war, not a delicate being.
When she meets a friendly British soldier, she starts to question the different opinions.

You are fighting in the war and missing your family. You're in love with a young nurse but at any given moment you could be torn apart.
