The beings of legends have become what they feared most; legends. The humans no longer worship them or practice their values. They run rampant without a god to show them the correct way of life. But soon, soon they will learn their place. The gods are tired of being ignored and they won't let it go on. Now, Mara is on a race to stop the end of the world as we know it. It's up to her, along with a small group of friendly gods, to keep the world from running headfirst into Ragnarok, or any other apocalyptic war.
(Yes, this story is HEAVILY inspired by Neil Gaiman's American Gods. However, it isn't set in the same world and doesn't follow the same story whatsoever. Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points. I watch as a man in all black strikes down and kills one of the innocent packless men before turning to another.
