"Everywhere Rey looked it was dark. It was as if no light had ever touched the rock of this particular piece of the castle. The foreign cobblestone floors were slick to the touch from leakages centuries old. Rey could not believe that this was what her life had become.
In the castle she was forced to flee from, every part of the castle had been bathed in light. It was symbolic, really, of the country it ruled over. Alderaan was a kingdom of beauty and grace and gently rolling hills and laughter and music and festivals. Rey shuddered at how everything had gone so wrong."
