Just like any NORMAL girl, I always dream of going to Detective Conan/Death Note's world.
(Please read chapter 2 if you think chapter 1 is boring because thats when other characters come in.. but you'll miss out a lot)
Well, I didnt expect that I would be in both of their worlds in one entirely!
Though the problem is L doesnt have any successors and Detective Conan isnt Detective Conan but Kudo Shinichi without any.. you know.. RAN (including her parents), 'Haibara', Detective Boys in his life and I'm... well, just a girl who is in between two worlds which is actually one!
Note: for those who dont understand what I'm saying, please go read/watch Detective Conan and Death Note respectively.
Because it is troublesome to explain.

A Slight Obsession
People often say things happen due to fate or destiny, others say it's just coincidence, while some claim it's due to someone, or something, causing it to happen. Until recently, Y/N just lived their life peacefully, moving every so often due to their parents work. They tried not to get attached to anyone so they wouldn't end up hurt, or hurting someone else once they move again. After meeting certain people though, will they have to move so often? Would they even be able to? ~~~ Alrighty, hello there readers! Not sure why you're here, but if you enjoy this story, then you got bad taste, ngl. Sorry not sorry. Anyways, I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this story but eh. The updates will be extremely random, hope you're all are okay with that. I'm mostly going to go around the main storyline with... slight changes? I just hope I don't make it anymore confusing than it already is. QUICK NOTE PLEASE READ L will be slightly aged down, I don't feel comfortable writing Y/N as an 18 year old and L as a 24-25 year old with romantic feelings for said 18 year old. L will instead be 20 since that would work out better for the story. Near will not be a love interest, he will be more of a younger brother figure, and Mello will have more of an admiration for Y/N, like a kid crushing on a celebrity sorta thing. I'm gonna try and make this sorta slowburny, but with my writing style, I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm also gonna try to keep this as gender neutral as possible, so please let me know if I've accidentally used the wrong pronouns or something throughout the story!! So basically, you. Muzan's 14-year-old half-demon daughter (I know it's cliche but bear with me) who he doesn't know even exists, somehow ended up under the suspicion of being a demon, which you were, halfway. And it was decided that you would now be living with the famous insect hashira. Shinobu Kocho. In the Butterfly mansion until they found out whether you were a demon or not after the test they had prepared had failed. And though they would never admit it, they were basically holding you hostage and waiting by to kill you off. You refused quite a bit but you apparently had no say in it. Well, you might've not liked the fact that they were currently holding you hostage to figure out whether you were actually a demon or not before killing you after figuring out that you were a demon like Sanemi so wished to do so. There wasn't, much you could do in this situation. The most efficient solution you could think of to get them to leave you alone for the rest of eternity without spilling any blood was to lay low until their suspicion of you being a demon eventually died down and they allowed you to leave yourself. However... It seemed there were quite a number of Demon slayers who greatly disapproved of your stay here, or at least they were very wary of you. the most annoying one being Sanemi Shinazugawa. The reason was obvious enough. You were a demon. Which now made the biggest hassle you had to deal with, staying alive until that point. You have met quite a few demon slayers during your stay at the butterfly mansion, and though not many had been very pleasant. There were others you encounters with a few individuals who were...
