The tall blonde boy looked at me nervously. He locked his eyes on mine, tightening the grip he had on my hand. "It's okay. I'm ready to forget it, I want this. I really do." I tried to look away from his hardened stare, but I couldn't. I could see the guilt in his eyes. I admit my heart still hurt, but I knew holding a grudge was not going to help us at all. "Luke, I know what I have to do." I sighed heavily. I felt his sweaty palms travel away from my hands. He placed them by his side. His eyes had not moved away from mine, not once, since we started talking. "Anything." He breathed.
