A Beat poem influenced by Allen Ginsberg's, Howl. The Beat writers were a tight-nit group of close friends first, which later became a movement. The term "Beat Generation" gradually came to represent an entire period in time, but the entire original Beat Generation in literature was small enough to have fit into a couple of cars (at times this nearly happened).

The theme of my poem is complex. It is feminist and individualist and two fingers up at societal norms and patriarchy. Its "deep"It shows exactly what I think and why you shouldn't conform.
