"What is wrong with your life?"

"A lot of things you don't want to know about, and one really bad one."

"And what is that?"

"You."
===
Young, writer and new-boy King Calway didn't want his parents to get divorced. He also didn't want for his dad to go to jail, but we can't get everything we want, now can we. He certainly didn't want to move to California after his dad and did not want to start school at Elenora High, but when he does he discovers the best friends he could find and the girl of his dreams.
	Colette Hale, the so-called "girl of his dreams" is actually what the school has nicknamed as the "cement brick". Damned to the small town of Elenora, California for not being as monarch-esq as her parents would've liked, Colette would like nothing more to disappear. But, as King slowly falls more and more in love with her, Colette starts to think she's falling for him.
	Which is not good, because Colette loves the idea of suicide more than she loves King, and he, along with an over-energetic coke addict and her sex-addict boyfriend, are the only ones who can convince Colette that the world is worth staying on.
