Blaise Evans hasn't been back to Adair, Kentucky in eleven years, but finds herself in her rural Kentucky hometown after a series of tragic circumstances and unforeseen surprises. At only nineteen years old, she is doing her best to balance family drama, new friendships, and her sophomore year of college. As she gets more involved with an old childhood friend, she can't help but find herself attracted to her university's tall, dark and very off-limits admissions director.
