"What did you call me?" I asked in shock.

"I-I said love. It's a British thing..." Tom blushed.

"You've never called me that before," I stepped closer to him.

"Maybe I've never seen you that way until now..." Tom said in a hushed tone. We were now close enough that I could feel his breath on my face. He smelled like Axe and, well, Tom.

"Maybe," I whispered. Tom's breath fanned on my face and I closed my eyes. When I opened them, Tom's lips were right in front of mine.
