Growing up Luca and Gray were always told of stories about faeries and mythical creatures, about magic and those who could wield it; they never for a minute thought those stories could be true, until now.

Luca and Gray Asher: back home, they were called "The Asher Twins". Here, they were more likely to be called "The Asher Orphans". After the death of their parents, Luca and Gray are forced to move half way across the country and live with an uncle they hardly know. Luca has no trouble fitting into his new life but things are never hard for him. Gray on the other hand doesn't have quite the same luck.

After an unwelcome run in with a white eyed man, Luca and Gray find themselves thrown into a world they never knew existed, and that they are now expected to save.

Remember, light wouldn't be possible without a little darkness.

The Changeling's Ghost (Thirteen Gates #1)

24 parts Complete

Asher Northcott has always been struggling to earn his parents appreciation in their world where protecting the human world from the world of the fae is normal. Due to "recent events" he thought he finally might have that chance. Only to have that dream thoroughly crushed upon discovering an agent from America is being sent to deal with their misconduct of the rules. Asher however is still determined to show he can do anything this guy can do, better. For his sake and his family's. Gus Washington isn't used to having real friends. The closest thing he has to even a mom is the special agent who looks after him. He spends most of his time karate-chopping faeries and keeping the land of the free and home of the brave pest free. He thought this would be like every other mission he's ever been on, get in, kick butt, get out. Keep moving. Get used to new faces. Then keep moving. However, when it starts to look like it might be different this time, Gus starts to worry that between his loyalty to his job and his own heart, he might loose the first person he ever called a friend.
