After the breaking of the Infinite Tsukuyomi, Sasuke vanished. Reportedly down an arm and most of his chakra, his pursuers found it infuriating how the man could simply walk off into thin air. Only, he hadn't. He'd been at Naruto's the whole time. It hadn't always been Naruto giving, and Sasuke taking. They'd been reciprocal, once. But not for a very long time. The horrible thing was, Sasuke wanted to take more. It was the wrong thing to want, because Naruto deserved to be given something in return for everything he'd given Sasuke without question... and the idea of continuing to be nothing more than another burden to Naruto left Sasuke's chest feeling cold.
