Light and darkness is stuck on one spot for three months. Electricity is gone for three months. Is it God? Is it aliens? Is the Earth infected? Doesn't matter. The end is near.

Knowledge about past civilizations and nations was all lost, but one nation holds all the knowledge. That is the USA. Will the USA reveal itself to the world or will it remain isolationist for the rest of its time?

It's the end of Battle of Belleau Wood, but as the final Germans surrendered to the marines, a massive portal opened in the middle of Belleau Wood and in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. After the loss of an estimated 10,000~ soldiers the countries had decided to end this war and to take the fight to the monsters who wreaked havoc across the battlefield, not realizing it was a portal to a whole new world.
