Ellie Granger has a secret, one that has been eating at her conscience all summer. So when her parents decide to move her across the country to a small town in Oregon, she doesn't exactly welcome the change. Staying with her parents' friends from high school, she spends a lot of time with the Thompson kids who she hasn't seen for many years. With her old life in the past, Ellie tries to move on from the tragic event that plagued her summer.
When Blake and Ellie see each other again, it's clear a lot has changed from when they were kids. And neither of them can deny the pull they feel towards each other.
