When the scheduled Greenie comes up, the boys are shocked to discover a girl.  She, like everyone else, only recalls her name, Diana.  With her arrival things begin to heat up, romantically with the Gladers.  Especially with...well, I guess you are going to have to read more to find out!
There's a love triangle, plot twists, and the original story line is tweaked to make things more interesting.
