Christian just wants to live a quiet life on his own as an independent bachelor, working a job where he wouldn't draw attention, and keeping out of the world's busy affairs. Simplicity seems relatively easy to maintain on his own--at least until he gets a mystery package that interrupts his current life and makes it a messy struggle to balance between who he is and who he wants to be. It's no walk in the park dealing with family meddling, but when a young woman is tossed in the mix he finds himself at a loss. There's only one way to fix this, and he'd really rather not face it.

((I've had this story a while now and I felt it was time I finally shared it. It's a bit of an experimental piece, honestly, and there's lots of potential for different content to show up here.))

Author's Note: I appreciate the traction this book gets here and there but fair warning, I wrote this when I was quite young and it's paced poorly just to get my ideas stored in my head onto a digital format. When she met him, she fell in love way to hard over heels until she found out that he had a family after so long of them being together. She had walked away from him, being "the one that got away" and left town to find a better place until she found out that she was pregnant with his child. She gave herself two choices; abortion or keep it and either way she tells him or not. Will it kill her from the inside or will she live her life how she wanted with the kid or not.Complete

Still got a "captive" princess (Sophia, daughter of Ben, King of the Mystic Woods), but instead of a dragon it's a giant (half-giant! also half-FireWitch)! And he's a wizard! He's kinda evil??
